Great old-timey hardware store with knowledgeable staff.
This is my favorite place to go for Hardware and Plumbing parts. They have knowledgeable and friendly staff and you don't have to wait in lines or walk through a huge parking lot to get to the store. Located in downtown Wakarusa. Antique wall of drawers full of hardware with rolling wooden ladders. Come Check it out if you're antiquing in Amish Country or just working around the house.

This small, family-run hardware store would be worth a visit JUST to see their huge, wall-sized antique collection of parts drawers! However, if you need something and are close enough to get to Wakarusa, it would be a mistake to not look here FIRST. I am constantly amazed that they seem to have just what I need, usually at competetive- to very- good prices, sometimes less expensive than the big box stores! Their very helpful employees make this a very efficient way to get that needed item! This is how neighborhood hardware stores USED to be.
